Cbank to start publishing avg key rate forecast for year from Fri

MOSCOW, Apr 22 (PRIME) -- The Russian central bank will start to publish forecasts for the range of the average key rate for each year of the forecast period on Friday, the authority said in a statement Thursday.

"The Central Bank of Russia has decided to include the average key rate range per calendar year of the forecast period in the list of medium-term forecast figures,” it said.

“The forecast key rate will become part of a medium term forecast of the Central Bank of Russia to be published together with a press release after a meeting of the board of directors on the key rate on April 23, 2021."

The ranges will reflect the forecasted terms of monetary policy that will likely be implemented if the economic situation develops in line with the base forecast.
